Explanation

This optical illusion is a simple perspective trick that fools the eye. The front-most stack of blocks (the one with only three) simply stops in mid air. If it were continued to the bottom, this drawing would look normal. But the illusion has used perspective to make you think those three blocks are resting on the back corner.
