The trick seems to be to relax you gaze and pay attention to what is happening in the periphery.

Explanation

This is one of our original, fun picture illusions.

The flowers seem to rotate in this optical illusion because of the shading of the “petals.” The shading does not make sense. We cannot determine what direction the light source is coming from and try to adjust for it.
