Explanation

This optical illusion changes the perspective of the arch to create a complete disconnect that is actually quite believable in the image. Note that the top and bottom parts are at different angles. The lines of the columns continue in different ways if you look up or down. Either the top or the bottom piece is believable and magically they fit together.
