Explanation

Sometimes looking at a continuous pattern can be interesting. Do you find your eyes fluttering around the picture, trying to find something? The eyes are constantly trying to make sense of everything we see. This optical illusion gives your eyes a simple pattern to examine which doesn't have much information for the mind to lock on to.
